Girl Friends Chapter 34

Chapter 34 - You can't miss on reading this chapter!!!

Thanks to MakiMaki Scanlation, the most awaited chapter was finally scanlated. They finally did it and they became more close to each and and more open about their feelings. *sigh* I was really worried that there will be some interruptions but fortunately there was none(From beginning up to the end). I'm happy but at the same time sad because the manga will soon end =(. I'm also worried about what will happen in the final chapter. Well, it's because in my experience, I have read some mangas that the begininng up to the middle chapters were great but the final chapter felt like it's rushed and doesn't meet the expectations. Even though it will be the final chapter (*sad* *sad* *sad*), I really hope that it will have a memorable final chapter.

Anyways, back to this chapter. Every part of the chapter is so cute but the cutest part is when Mari sulks when Akko told her that she will be a good wife then Akko said,

"My Wife."

Kyaaa, Mari was really surprise and at the same time happy. Well, anyone will be really glad when their love one told something sweet like that to them, you know. Girl Friends is really the best!!! XD

Episode 2 - "First Battle: The Story of a Chair"

During breakfast, Kanata is introduced to the other members of the 1121st Platoon; Filicia Heideman, Noël Kannagi and Kureha Suminoya. Kureha is somehow acting cold and irritated towards Kanata (is this what they called a tsun-tsun? =P). The expression of Kanata when Rio told her to eat a lot and grow strong is funny since she looks in a very specific part that she should grow too. Hahaha.

Kureha expresses her depression because the military often ignores the squadron's existence. Kureha is really the most serious person when it comes to their job. That night, Noël and Kanata claim they saw a ghost in the barracks, so Kanata and Kureha are sent to investigate. Looks like Rio is scared of ghost too. XD

Kanata is happy since they were able to do a mission but it looks like Kureha is the opposite since she's scared of ghosts. Kanata is such a very carefree and cheerful person. She always smiles and she never worries that much unlike Kureha who's such a worrywart.

I suddenly remembered my past wherein there was a test of courage at our school in the middle of the night and my partner suddenly run and left me when we were about to get in the location. Then, I was forced to finish the test by myself and return. *sigh* What an experience... Hehehe.

They discovered that the place used to be a school. Whoa!!!  The school uniforms really suit them.  ^_^ So cute... It's better than their military uniforms.

 

They  finally caught the culprit which was an owl. She's also the one who stole the Rio's bell (Episode1). She looks so adorable since she can do different appearances. They decided to keep it and named her Shuko.

This time, Rio is the one who made the morning call (something like that) since they don't want to get complaints from the town if Kanata will do it every day.

Here comes the "dere" from their very own tsundere Kureha. Hahahaha. She's the one who prepared the breakfast and denies that she made it especially for Kanata. Geez, what a tsundere. So cute. =D

 

Sora no Woto Episode 1

Episode 1 - "Resounding Sound: The City at Dawn"

It starts with a dream wherein young Kanata Sorami met Iliya who plays her trumpet. A young girl named Kanata Sorami joins the army with the hope of learning to become a good bugler. She is assigned to a place called Seize, which is currently holding a festival where people splash each other with water. She is found by her superior, Rio Kazumiya, who gives her a bath and tells her about the legend of the Fire Maidens. While looking at a bell owned by Rio's father, an owl steals it, forcing Rio to stop Kanata falling off the balcony trying to get it. As Rio participates in the festival, Kanata decides to search for the bell. She finds it hanging off a ledge, but when she goes to get it she falls into the lake, where she sees the golden skeleton of a winged creature. Stranded at the bottom of a canyon, she plays her bugle where she is responded to by Rio on her trumpet. She takes her to the Time Telling Fortress and plays the trumpet as the sun rises, introducing herself as Kanata's bugling teacher. (source : wikipedia.org)
